He is a proud Polaroider and a blockchain enthusiast. His passion for photography dates back to when he was a teenager. He fell in love with it for its expressive power and the artistic possibilities it holds. As a youngster, he enjoyed shooting with a Canon EOS digital camera, but he quickly realized that he would take a lot of photos and then store them on a hard drive.

All this led him to instant photography, especially Polaroids. He learned and he is continuing to learn many creative techniques for manipulating Polaroid photos, combining his passion for something physical, tangible, and immediately available, manipulated with imagination and fantasy. He currently masters several manipulation techniques: soup, soaking, lift-off, painting, collage, transparencies, still life, cyanotype, and he plans to add more and more. There are no limits to imagination.

He has already participated in several exhibitions: ISO600 in Bologna, InstantArt in Arles, ArcadeCity in Bologna, Uncensored in Milan, group shows managed by ArtNumber23, and many more in the coming months. Last year, he won the Paoletti Talent Award at the ISO600 exhibition. He loves Polaroids. He loves the imperfections that tell the truth.

Anonymization

Description

Anonymization — The Bitcoin Blockchain explores the tension between identity and invisibility within the decentralized systems that define our digital era. The human figure, whose face is replaced by a Bitcoin coin, becomes both a symbol and a cipher—an embodiment of the anonymous yet traceable nature of blockchain existence. Rendered through artificial intelligence and later transformed by hand with metallic pigments, the work merges the algorithmic and the tactile, infusing a sense of mysticism and cosmic energy. The interplay of reflective color and photographic stillness evokes the duality of the blockchain: an infinite, impersonal network grounded in human imagination and belief.

Transparency

Description

Transparency — The Bitcoin Blockchain examines the paradox of visibility within the architecture of digital trust. The human figure, its face replaced by a Bitcoin coin, becomes both revealed and obscured—embodying the balance between privacy and openness at the core of blockchain systems. Realized through an AI-generated image and later transformed via the physical separation of Polaroid positive and negative layers, the work materializes transparency itself. The delicate, almost spectral surface evokes the permeability of technological structures and the fragility of truth in the age of distributed information.

Decenralization

Description

Decentralization — The Bitcoin Blockchain visualizes the distributed architecture of the Bitcoin network as a metaphor for collective yet anonymous identity. The central figure—its face obscured by a Bitcoin coin—anchors a constellation of interconnected portraits, each linked by red thread. These human “peers,” diverse in age and gender, embody individuality within a system that dissolves hierarchy. The red thread, stitched directly onto the Polaroid surface, materializes the invisible connections of blockchain consensus, while the partially veiled faces reflect the tension between anonymity and belonging. The work transforms a digital abstraction into a tactile, humanized vision of decentralized trust.

To The Moon

Description

In To The Moon!, Vincent Van Gold reimagines Van Gogh’s The Starry Night through the prism of the digital era. The familiar celestial swirl now orbits around a radiant Bitcoin symbol, replacing the moon and invoking the cryptocurrency mantra “To the Moon!” — a metaphor for aspiration, speculation, and transcendence. Realized in Polaroid format, the piece transforms a canonical image of art history into a contemporary icon, situating it between analogue memory and digital mythmaking.

Boy With a Basket of Fruits and Bitcoin

Description

In Boy with a Basket of Fruit and Bitcoin, CaroViaggio reinterprets Caravaggio’s early masterpiece through the lens of contemporary digital culture. The familiar chiaroscuro composition — at once sensual and symbolic — is disrupted by the discreet presence of a Bitcoin coin nestled among the fruit. This subtle insertion transforms a still life of abundance into a meditation on value, desire, and exchange in the age of virtual economies. Rendered in Polaroid format, the work underscores the tension between permanence and transience, between the tactile materiality of the Baroque and the immaterial promise of the blockchain.

Girl with a Bitcoin Earing

Description

In Girl with a Bitcoin Earring, Jan VerMoon reimagines Vermeer’s iconic portrait through the lens of digital value and contemporary symbolism. The delicate pearl, long associated with purity and rarity, is replaced by the Bitcoin emblem — an emblem of a new form of wealth and belief. This subtle alteration transforms a study of light and intimacy into a meditation on how notions of beauty, value, and currency evolve across time. Rendered in Polaroid format, the work bridges the quiet timelessness of the Dutch Golden Age with the speculative luminosity of the digital era.

La Moneta

Description

In La Moneta, Leonardo La Vinsi reinterprets da Vinci’s Mona Lisa through the prism of digital value and contemporary iconography. The enigmatic sitter, long a symbol of mystery and human introspection, now holds a Bitcoin coin — transforming her subtle smile into an allegory of modern wealth, trust, and transformation. Captured in Polaroid format, the work bridges Renaissance humanism with the ethos of decentralization, inviting reflection on how value itself is constructed, preserved, and reimagined across epochs.

The Persistence of Coin

Description

In The Persistence of Coin, Salvador DeFì reimagines Dalí’s surreal landscape through the logic of decentralized value. The melting clocks — symbols of time’s fluidity and impermanence — remain distorted, yet the Bitcoin coin stands intact, resisting decay. This contrast evokes the enduring nature of trustless, transparent systems in an age of constant transformation. Rendered in Polaroid format, the work juxtaposes the dreamlike elasticity of time with the perceived stability of digital value, positioning cryptocurrency as the new surrealism of the contemporary era.

The UTXO

Description

In The UTXO, Edvard Moon revisits Munch’s existential cry through the symbolic language of Bitcoin. The figure, once consumed by anguish, now holds a Bitcoin coin before an open mouth—transforming terror into astonishment. The gesture shifts the emotional register from despair to revelation, suggesting the awe and disruption provoked by decentralized value. Captured in Polaroid format, the work reframes a modern icon of anxiety as a portrait of awakening, where the human psyche confronts not fear, but the vast potential of technological transformation.
